Antarctica is located over the South Pole and is entirely surrounded by the Southern Ocean. It looks like a messy circle, but with one bit sticking out - a peninsular which extends towards South America. The peninsular is called the Antarctic Peninsular. The real boundary of Antarctica is double because in winter the water freezes creating a bigger land mass. This is called the Antarctic Convergence.
